Chef Daniel Boling

Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Chef Daniel Boling discovered his passion for cooking early and later pursued formal training at culinary school in Grand Rapids. His culinary perspective was shaped through extensive travel in Europe, including a formative season cooking at Hotel Kafara in Sicily, and later refined during more than a decade at the renowned Lodge at Torrey Pines in Southern California. He also spent time in Portland, Oregon, where he cooked at Nike’s global headquarters. His dedication to thoughtfully sourced ingredients, relationships with local farmers and artisans, and inspired technique defines his approach in the kitchen today.
